Lucy McKinley: MA CertCII DipPFS
Lucy is a financial advisor and company director. She joined the firm in 2009 as an administrative assistant; at the time, the job was a temporary position because the owner was thinking about retiring and selling the business. Luckily for Lucy, the sale never took place and after a few years working in the business as an administrator and paraplanner, she took the decision to qualify as a financial advisor. In 2018 Lucy bought a share of the business and she has been at the forefront of running the company since then.
Lucy is passionate about the benefits of financial advice and in an ideal world, she would make it compulsory for everyone to have a basic financial education while at school. She’s one of those incredibly annoying people that looks forward to going to work every day and who will happily chat about her job if you’re brave enough to ask (and often even if you’re not). Lucy’s favourite thing is finding the perfect financial solution for a client and the knowledge that she’s helped them to achieve a secure financial future.

Brian & Claire, who work in the Post Office that shares the same building as The IFA Company. They’re always willing to pass on messages or documents, if Lucy is unavailable.
And there’s also Hannah, who takes care of our paraplanning and report writing needs. Hannah works remotely but you might talk to her if you call when Lucy is on holiday,
